So you know you are far behind on your blogging when Aunt Elizabeth is able to keep up with 4 kids and a husband on a trip. Just great. Honestly, we have been doing stuff outside and not really hanging out in front of the computer. So here it is, our May update.
For Mother's Day, I had breakfast in bread. Espresso (or X-Presso if you are from Ney), crepes with three fillings and juice. And comedy.
Annalise finished off preschool for her life. We had a surprise mini graduation party for her. Evie and I made these cupcakes that look like graduation caps.
Annalise had no clue what was in store for her.
Our party consisted of us and our very favorite next door neighbors. Best Friends forever.
And at some garage sale, we found a yard toy.
Annalise took a bath this month. She was really dirty so we had to add extra bubbles.
There was also a weekend when Jim and I cleaned out the garage, attic, and the cars. While we sweated, the girls made stepping stones. This was the first time we could get them both to wear pony tails. Evie is strictly a pigtail girl.
Summer hit pretty early. Even before the pool opened so we had to get out the slip and slide to cool everyone down one hot afternoon.
Evie's last day of school rolled around. What a big girl. We have a 3rd grader now!
This one will be joining the rest of the troop at the bus stop in the fall and she can't wait.
While AB and JoJo were here, we had lunch with Evie at school. I think it may have been the most favorite menu. Mini Corn Dogs. Jo wasn't impressed.
And then one afternoon, the girls and I attempted to make a dodecahedron out of orgami. It took 12 pieces of paper and I couldn't figure out how to make them all fold together. I must have worked on this for 30 minutes before giving up. Then Evie comes back inside and finished it off in 5 seconds. Arg.
